🇬🇧 The name Akasha comes from Sanskrit and means 'sky,' referring to the original principle from which all elements of the universe emanate, where everything is born, grows, and expresses itself through Akasha. Every being is guided by the inner quest to understand Akasha in life, whether that goal is conscious or not. For Marco Scognamiglio, born and raised in Brazil, this awareness awakened in 2015 when he had a transformative musical experience at the Universo Paralello festival, resulting in the artistic project that charries this profound name.

To do justice to it, Marco has created a strong musical identity with themes that evoke flying, space, other dimensions, the future, and spiritual evolution. This entire concept is presented in highly psychedelic and groovy music and performances, with moments of tension and calmness in perfect balance, characteristics that guide his artistic journey.

In late 2016, Akasha released his first EP called 'Life In Space.' In 2017, after much study and work, he debuted his 100% original set at the Oxygen Festival in Mexico. Later the same year, he won the DJ contest at Maya, performing at the event for over 7,000 people. By 2018, his productions already had fans worldwide, which facilitated his first trip to Europe, a tour that represented a significant leap in his career, performing in 5 countries on the Old Continent.

In the following years, he continued on the path to success, charting several tracks at the Top 1 of Psy Trance on Beatport. Shortly after, in 2021, he launched Digitalk, a project in partnership with his close friend Francisco (AVAN7), through which they combine their creative forces to explore the darker facets of the genre.

Up to the present moment, Akasha has released music on some of the biggest labels in the Psy Trance universe, including Sacred Technology, Nataraja Records, Transcape Records, Iono Records, Profound Records, Mosaico Records, BMSS Records, Rizoma Records, DM7 Records, and Sonoora Records. In terms of performances, he has played in 7 countries and 16 Brazilian states, leaving his mark at the country's top parties and festivals. His current goal is to expand the reach of his musical and psychedelic message, reaching every corner of Brazil and the five continents of the world, transforming people's lives and becoming an increasingly relevant reference in the global Full On scene.
